Teachers can choose from
An experienced Wakehurst teacher will plan your visit with you to ensure your pupils have a stimulating and enjoyable trip that is linked to the curriculum. We pride ourselves on providing well organised, fun, stress-free days that allow accompanying teachers to participate fully with their students.
We focus on promoting understanding of plant biology and the environment for all levels and age groups. Our approach is hands on and cross-curricular in order to give the very best out-of-classroom experience.
Wakehurst can accommodate groups of up to 120 students.
Self-led visits for students in full time education have free entry with bookings made in advance (7 days notice required).
This also applies to groups with an Educational Group National Trust card.
