Tickets and prices

Entry to the Gardens is advance booking only. You will need to pre-book your time slot.

Book your time slot

Our Gardens are open to a limited number of people who are able to safely get to us and enjoy our Gardens.

Your safety, and that of our staff, is our highest priority. That’s why we’ve introduced time slots to help us stagger the entry flow, reduce queues and limit the numbers of visitors to our garden.

In this first phase, our capacity is limited to support our new approach, and a majority of those tickets are reserved for members as we work to a fuller reopening.

We’re sorry, but if you don’t have a time slot (even if you’re a member) you will be turned away.

Book your time slot

On arrival you will need to present:

    • Your time slot ticket (either on a phone or print out). You will not be allowed to visit without this.

    • Your membership card, or email confirmation of membership.

    • Concessions may need to provide ID.

You have 45 minutes from your chosen time slot to enter Kew Gardens; once you're inside, stay as long as you like. Please help keep to social distancing guidelines and don’t arrive earlier than your time.

You should not come to the Gardens if you are unwell, or fall into the vulnerable groups or should be in isolation along with your household.

    Refunds and cancellations

If you have tickets to a specific event that has been cancelled, we will be in touch with more details.

If after booking your ticket, you can’t attend, please consider donating your ticket price to support our vital science work. As a charity we rely on donations and ticket revenue to fund our vital science work on humanity’s most critical challenges like climate change and biodiversity.

    Getting to Kew

You should only travel to Kew if you can walk, cycle or travel here safely.

If you are reliant on public transport, please postpone your visit until Government guidelines have changed.

Please note: Parking is prohibited on Kew Road, and there are limited options for parking in general. Consider walking or cycling to us if you are able to.
