Our Gardens are open to a limited number of people who are able to safely get to us and enjoy our Gardens.

We're good to go - In partnership with the tourist organisations of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Your safety, and that of our staff, is our highest priority. That’s why we’ve introduced time slots to help us stagger the entry flow, reduce queues and limit the numbers of visitors to our garden.

We’re sorry, but if you don’t have a time slot (even if you’re a member) you will be turned away.

Plans changed?

If you have tickets to a specific event that has been cancelled, we will be in touch with more details.

If you think you won't be able to attend, simply send a message to to free up a place for someone else.

As we are a charity, please consider donating your ticket price to help us continue our vital scientific and conservation work.

Too many people in your group?

We know that you might have intended to visit with more people than the government regulations now allow for.

If you need to change your ticket allocation simply contact the customer service for SeeTickets.

On arrival you will need to present:

    • Your time slot ticket (either on a phone or print out). You will not be allowed to visit without this.

    • Your membership card, or email confirmation of membership.

    • Concessions may need to provide ID.

You have 45 minutes from your chosen time slot to enter Kew Gardens; once you're inside, stay as long as you like. Please help keep to social distancing guidelines and don’t arrive earlier than your time.

You should not come to the Gardens if you are unwell or should be in isolation along with your household.

    We urgently need your help

Coronavirus closed our gates for nearly three months.

As a result, we have lost up to £15 million in vital revenue and, unlike other cultural institutions, we won’t be receiving any dedicated government support.

That means everything that we do, from seed banking and plant conservation, to growing and caring for your favourite horticultural highlights, is threatened.

As we are a charity, we now need your help to protect our vital scientific work and the gardens that we all love.

Any donation you can give would be greatly appreciated.
