The Great Pagoda

This vibrant exhibition and sculpture trail has been produced by Historic Royal Palaces to celebrate the restoration of the Great Pagoda

Designed by Sir William Chambers and completed in 1762, it offered one of the earliest and finest bird’s eye views of London.

The restoration includes the re-introduction of 80 dragons, each carved from wood and gilded with real gold, which originally adorned the roofs.
