Explore Kew with an experienced guide who will give you an insight into our history and work, identify exotic plants in one of our glasshouses, then recommend what's looking good in the Gardens. Daily at 11am and 1.30pm (except 24 or 25 December).

Tour overview

During the tour your guide will focus on different plants from our living collection, the largest and most diverse in the world, growing out in the landscape and within our glasshouses.

You will gain an insight into our science and conservation research work, from small scale research to large international programmes and partnerships.

And you will find out about our iconic buildings designed by eminent architects, landscapes conceived by distinguished garden designers and our history of royal patronage.
