Join us for a fun-filled adventure in our Gardens as we investigate nature through interactive storytelling, outdoor exploration and hands-on activities.

Each month we focus on a different seasonal theme, structured around an imaginative storytelling adventure at Kew.

Our Little Explorers sessions are designed to inspire a sense of wonder and spark curiosity about the natural world. Typical activities include nature-based crafts, sensory play, seed planting, story time and seasonal nature hunts.

The majority of activities will take place outdoors, whatever the weather, so please dress accordingly.

Upcoming themes:

  • Monday 22 May: Trees

  • Monday 12 June: Flowers

  • Monday 10 July: Butterflies

  • Monday 11 September: Food

  • Monday 9 October: Autumn

Getting to the venue

All sessions will start at the Information Point opposite Victoria Gate (grid reference J8 on our map of Kew Gardens), where you will be met by your session leader.

Please allow enough time to walk to Victoria Gate (roughly 15 minutes from Lion and Elizabeth Gate, and 20 minutes from Brentford Gate).
