‘Kew’s work will help protect the world’s plants, the basis for all life on the planet. In a time of unprecedented global change, it could not be more important.’- Sir David Attenborough

Be at the forefront of real world issues

At least 31,000 of the world’s discovered plants have a documented use- including 17,000 with known medicinal properties.

Their conservation is vital.

The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew has the largest and most diverse living and preserved collections of plants and fungi in the world. Our team of 300 scientists work with global partners to put Kew at the forefront of that science.

From banking seeds to rebuilding the Temperate House and even resurrecting plants from extinction, your support helps Kew to address some of the world’s critical challenges.

By having a relationship with Kew, you are helping anything from the next generation of horticulturalists through apprenticeships to enabling cutting-edge DNA sequencing.

Enjoy a close relationship
