Leave a gift in your Will
Leaving just a small percentage of your estate as a gift to Kew Gardens or Wakehurst can make all the difference.
Protect the natural world for generations to come
Kew Gardens and Wakehurst are two of the most beautiful and beloved natural spaces in the world, representing over 260 years of care and cutting-edge cultivation.
Since 1881, when none other than Charles Darwin left a foundational legacy to Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, a group of the gardens’ closest supporters have been contributing to that inheritance.
This ensures that our extraordinary gardens remain a site of inspiration, solace and delight for generations to come.
As a charity, we rely on this critical support, not only to sustain the gardens but to protect global plant and fungal biodiversity for the benefit of our planet and humanity.

The difference you will make
Our experts have been at the forefront of cataloguing, protecting and researching plant and fungal life for centuries.
Today, we have over 400 partnerships across over 180 countries, and we continue to conduct leading scientific research and conservation work.
We’re uncovering the solutions plants and fungi offer to humanity’s most critical challenges, from cleaning the air we breathe to providing the food we eat.
In doing so, we are tackling the impacts of climate change, food insecurity and biodiversity loss, protecting untold lives and livelihoods and using our trusted voice to shape policy and practice worldwide.
Together, we will end the extinction crisis and help create a world where nature is protected, valued by all and managed sustainably.
But we simply cannot continue this essential work without our supporters.
By leaving just a small percentage of your estate as a gift to Kew, you can help protect the gardens, as well as make a distinctive and substantial contribution to a greener, more sustainable planet for all. Our future is botanic.
