Trait Diversity and Function

Protected areas, conservation effectiveness, incentives for agrobiodiversity conservation, Ethiopia

I am responsible for developing an incentive mechanism for agrobiodiversity conservation on smallholder farms in Ethiopia. Working with local partners to understand the diversity of enset around Kafa biosphere reserve and what farmers require in order to preserve this diversity. I am also particularly interested in protected areas and OECMs and using with counterfactual analysis to determine effectiveness of conservation interventions.
