Ecocriticism, environmental history, plant humanities
My research focuses on the Miscellaneous Reports Collection. I work in the interdisciplinary field of the environmental humanities, using ecocritical approaches to examine colonial networks of economic botany. Interests include environmental justice, the role of colonial botanic gardens and archives, and human relationships with plants, particularly in terms of deforestation and food products.
