Immerse yourself in a celebration of Cameroon after dark at Orchids After Hours — an exuberant evening of live performances, cocktails, and cooking demonstrations.

Enjoy exclusive access to the tropical paradise of The Princess of Wales Conservatory and wander amongst the vibrant displays of colourful orchids.

With ten computer-controlled climate zones, the Princess of Wales Conservatory is a glassy labyrinth leading you through a series of fascinating ecosystems where you’ll enjoy:

  • Vibrant displays of colourful orchids
  • Live performances
  • Cooking demonstrations and food stalls
  • Cameroonian themed cocktails

Discover larger-than-life sculptures created by our team of expert horticulturists, hand-crafted from an amazing array of real, colourful orchids and plants.

Listen to live music curated by DJ SHEGOTSOUL and learn about the wonder of orchids from Kew experts while sipping a Cameroonian themed cocktail.

Cameroon is home to some of the world’s most delicate and threatened orchids – some so rare their locations must be kept secret for their protection. Visit our central display at the heart of the glasshouse for a chance to see some of the Cameroonian orchids we care for here at Kew.
