Specialism

A dynamic and motivated independent Chartered Engineer with 20 years international experience of software, data management, aerospace engineering, management and consultancy in both the Defence and Civilian markets. Interested in global projects exploiting emerging technology, and in exploiting STEM best practice.

Over the span of 25 years, I have led and delivered projects from the introduction of new digital capabilities for small companies to delivery of worldwide $65M/year cloud migration projects for the US Department of Defence. I am keen to keep up to date with emerging technologies and explore how they can be applied in a digital landscape.

My current Senior Civil Service role is evidence of my desire for impact when I moved from a US defence digital delivery role to lead the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew Digital Revolution. I see the impact in Kew as the same as my previous military role: to provide the right people with the right data and information, at the right time for them to make effective decisions.
