Specialism

Generating and analysing DNA sequence data for conservation genetics

I am interested in evolutionary relationships between species and estimating phylogenetic diversity to inform conservation measures. I am also interested in how genetic diversity and population structure can be used to shape conservation efforts.

In my role, I am generating DNA sequence data from Kew collections and performing bioinformatic analyses on these data to inform conservation measures and preserve diversity.
