This summer, enjoy the tranquility of Kew Gardens with exclusive early opening for members and their guests from 8am daily.
Early openings offer the perfect opportunity for Kew members to explore the evocative artworks from Marc Quinn’s groundbreaking exhibition Light into Life before the crowds.
Wind through Kew’s unique landscape and discover our vibrant collections at their summer finest. Why not pick up a coffee and tasty breakfast snack from the Victoria Plaza Café to get your summer’s day off to a perfect start?
Plus, when our glasshouses and galleries open at 10am, you can be among the first to enjoy them.
There’s no need to book to make the most of this exclusive member benefit. Simply arrive at Victoria Gate or Brentford Gate with your membership card and an ID.
Planning on visiting the Children’s Garden?
From 8.15am on weekends and bank holidays, the Children’s Garden will also open early for members accompanied by children.
Pre-booking is not required to visit the Children’s Garden.
*Please note this excludes Sunday 26 May, Sunday 28 July, and Sunday 22 September 2024 owing to a quiet session for children with special educational needs and disabilities. Members are welcome to book onto this session if applicable.
Important information
- Early entry to Kew Gardens is for members and allocated guests only.
- Members do not need to book a time slot to visit the Gardens. Simply bring along your membership card to scan on arrival. Please also bring your ID.
- Entry is via Victoria Gate and Brentford Gates only.
- While Victoria Plaza Café and toilets across the site open at 8am between 1 May and 30 September, all other indoor spaces – including the glasshouses and structures – open at 10am.
