Join us for an exclusive chance to join Ed Ikin, Head of Landscape and Horticulture at Wakehurst, for a ‘walk and talk’ through the newly planted Winter Garden. This will be followed by tea, coffee and cake in Redwoods coffee shop.
Learn all about our newly transformed Winter Garden. In total, 33,000 plants have combined to create a dynamic and contemporary design in the garden showcasing elegant Himalayan Birches (Betula utilis var jacquemontianii), Tibetan Cherry (Prunus serrula tibetica) and blocks of colourful Cornus.
It was inspired by the trees and shrubs of the South Downs, and the plants have been specially chosen to reflect the local area and showcase the highlights of the season.
Included with your ticket is a delicious array of tea, coffee and cake in our cosy Redwoods coffee shop, and a relaxed opportunity for a Q&A with Ed on all things horticulture and Wakehurst.
