This Easter, embark on an exciting adventure through Wakehurst’s ornamental gardens and striking woodland.
The evil Wizard Lizard has lost his magical flower. Can you help Superworm and his friends find it before the Wizard Lizard does?
Interactive activities and sculptures will bring the trail to life – you'll need to enlist the help of Superworm’s friends to point you in the right direction, but watch out for that Crow!

Story telling | Daily, 11.30am and 2.30pm
Amongst the trees, gather around to enjoy beautiful songs and stories.
Our storytellers will sweep you away with tales from traditional folklore – catch them daily around the Superworm trail.
Mighty Microbes Mission
Join our Nature Hero squad on this mini trail to help Superworm find nutritional microbes for our plants and fungi. Complete this mission to collect your Superworm badge and add it to your Nature Heroes cape.
Wormery Workshop
Hosted by Little Forest School, listen to the tale of Superworm, cook up some mud pies and create your own wormery or treasure game to take home with you.
Dog walking
Following the announcement that dogs will now be welcome at Wakehurst, the Superworm trail takes place in areas of the gardens where dog walking is prohibited.
Visitors arriving with dogs will be asked to respect the dedicated dog walking route, always keeping their canine companion on a short lead.
We’re delighted to offer an ‘off-lead zone’, located near to the Millennium Seed Bank, where dogs can enjoy a run around.
