Practise the ancient art of qigong to relax and soothe your mind.
Join our relaxing meditation workshop to learn about and practise qigong, an ancient Chinese art that has been around for over 2,500 years.
Qigong provides tools with which to manage energy levels, regulate health and maintain balance, and is based on practices such as yoga and martial arts, and draws its principles from both Daoism and Buddhism.
In this workshop led by Swedish teacher Helena Skoog, you'll use a combination of intentional, moving meditations and deep breathing to support your body’s ability to maintain health.
You'll learn how to move your body, regulate your breathing, calm your mind and nourish your energy.
At the heart of qigong is the idea that nature is balanced and harmonious, so our beautiful gardens are the perfect peaceful setting for your moving meditations.

- Please ensure you are wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to move, stretch, and breathe with ease

You can book with confidence for our many Wakehurst workshops. Come along knowing that the safety and wellbeing of our visitors is of the upmost importance to us. We are continually monitoring and responding to the COVID-19 pandemic situation as it evolves.
