Learn how to take great photographs using a digital camera in this fun and creative workshop at Wakehurst. Saturday 16 February 2019.

Photography expert Lillian Spibey will show you how your camera works and explain in detail how aperture, shutter speed and ISO combine to make your images pop!

She will also explain how to quickly decide which are the best automatic settings to use in a variety of different situations.

The course will cover:

  • How to operate the auto and semi-manual camera settings
  • How to use aperture to blur or sharpen your backgrounds
  • Manual and auto focus
  • How to use shutter speed to take crisp action shots and to show motion
  • White balance
  • Composition tips and techniques to give your images the wow factor

You will take home a course booklet which will remind you of all the content covered in the class.
