Come and be inspired by the beautiful array of botanical shapes and colours in the gardens and woodlands at Wakehurst.
Turn sketches into your own design and print onto a tote bag for yourself or to make a lovely gift for family or friends.
Your workshop will begin with a walk through the gardens drawing, observing and learning with your hosts Catherine and Martha Orbach. They will lead the workshop, helping you transform your sketches into a stencil design which you will then screen print onto a cotton tote bag.
About the workshop leaders
Catherine and Martha Orbach run Printwalks, a landscape-based printmaking collaboration.
They make nature-based prints, charting the seasons through walking, observing botanical detail, drawing and translating ideas into print.
