Wiggle into your wellies and head off on a family adventure of sensory discovery this October half term as Michael Rosen’s much-loved tale is brought to life at Wakehurst.
Journey through ‘swishy-swashy’ grass, ‘splash splosh’ and ‘squelch squerch’ your way through the woodlands of Wakehurst on an expedition in search of a big bear.
The We’re Going On A Bear Hunt trail, which is included with your day entry, will take you through Bethlehem Wood, allowing you to take in autumn colour as the trees begin to turn.
This is an adventure for all the family to enjoy as muddy memories are made.
Pre-booking is strongly advised to secure your spot.

Important information
- Since this is an outdoor trail, we recommend coming prepared with wellies and weather-suitable clothing – ready to make some muddy memories.
- We're Going On A Bear Hunt takes place in a dog friendly part of the gardens. Please note that Tree Trunk Trek remains dog free as it is a children’s play space. There is a route to take your canine companion around to avoid going through here.
