Pupils are introduced to a variety of different techniques to hunt in the long grass, trees and leaf litter to find and observe a variety of creatures in their habitats.
Add two of our 45 minute activities to build a full day visit. We recommend Life in water, In search of a home trail, and Art in the garden
Learning outcomes

This session offers pupils the opportunity to:

Collect minibeasts in a variety of habitats.

Identify some of the minibeasts using simple keys.

Compare the creatures collected.

Sort the creatures into groups.
