This workshop follows on from The dragon’s treasure trail. After pupils have been on their collecting trail, they explore their own collections through hand lenses and magnifiers.

They look at germinating seeds, exotic seeds, and seeds of familiar fruits.

Learning Outcomes 

We design our sessions to match the learning outcomes in the EYFS national curriculum. All our sessions have a cross-curricular approach and are tailored to suit the educational needs of your group.  

This session offers pupils the opportunity to: 

  • Speak about the activities and listen to each other.

  • Cooperate in groups.

  • Explore and observe the natural surroundings.

  • Find out about plants and seeds.

  • Talk about their findings. 

  • Use counting skills.
