Cambridge Cottage is the perfect setting for an intimate wedding with your nearest and dearest. 

This charming period building accommodates up to 80 guests for a seated ceremony and reception dinner,  and a full evening capacity of 120.  

For an indoor celebration, enjoy the relaxed elegance of the Drawing Room before moving through to the Gallery for dinner surrounded by some of our finest botanical artwork.  

The Drawing Room and Gallery open onto the picturesque and secluded Duke's Garden, a refreshing green space for outdoor drinks and photographs.

Alternatively, you can celebrate outdoors and exchange your vows framed by the French doors of the Drawing Room while your guests look on from the lawn of the Duke’s Garden.  

Offering the flexibility you need, Cambridge Cottage provides the best of Kew on an intimate scale – all within easy reach of central London.

If you wish to invite further guests for an evening celebration, the total capacity is 120.

Dates available for hire

  • Bank holidays at special request 

Hire time 

  • Available from 9am to 11pm 
  • Fees cover a 9-hour period within these times 
  • Additional hours charged as required 

Fees for exclusive hire 

  • Monday to Thursday: £2,500 + VAT (except bank holidays) 
  • Friday: £3,000 + VAT (except bank holidays) 
  • Saturday: £4,000 + VAT 
  • Sunday: £3,500 + VAT
