Conservation Partnership Coordinator
As a Conservation Partnership Coordinator in the Seed Conservation section, my job is to develop and maintain Millennium Seed Bank partnerships, projects and networks, particularly in Asia. We aim to secure the safe storage of seed from at least 25% of the world’s bankable plant species, whilst promoting plant conservation, sustainable utilisation of plant resources, habitat restoration and the improvement of livelihoods. I am also involved in several research projects that explore the use of seeds in ecological restoration, with an emphasis on tropical forests and temperate grasslands.
