Sue Zmartzy
Curator (Americas Team)

My role focuses on the management of herbarium collections from the Americas and involves the naming and curation of incoming specimens, maintaining the high standard of the Collections through recuration, and the provision of access to the collections via digitisation, material loan, and direct support of visitors to the Herbarium.
As Americas Curation Co-ordinator I oversee the delegation of transactional tasks forwarded to our Team. My current research projects include the collaborative publication of new accounts of the families Salicaceae and Achariaceae, and resolution of the Lindackerieae (Achariaceae). I manage an online interactive key to the genera of Euphorbiaceae and allies, Salicaceae and Achariaceae, and the Scratchpad to which it links.
