Research Assistant
I work as part of the team that curates and manages Kew’s Tissue and DNA bank. My role is varied and involves curating new incoming tissue collections, as well as collecting tissue and voucher specimens from Kew’s living collections and herbarium. I also carry out molecular laboratory work focused on increasing the capacity of Kew’s DNA bank, and provide support for researchers both at Kew, and at other institutions worldwide.
