Taxonomy, distribution and Conservation of orchids, especially Madagascar and the Mascarene Islands.

My main research activities include bibliography, inventory, revision and identification work on the orchids of Madagascar, Comoros and the Mascarenes. I am currently working on Angraecum, Bulbophyllum, Cynorkis and Polystachya, alongside regular field work in Madagascar.
