As a conservator, I utilise a combination of practical skills, scientific knowledge, and historical research to ensure the repair and treatment of vulnerable materials is performed safely and sensitively. I am responsible for the conservation of the Miscellaneous Reports Collection, which involves condition assessment and analysis of these volumes, followed by further treatment to secure the material, and enables preservation of their contents through rehousing and repair.
