Key stage information for school programmes at Wakehurst

Our experienced teachers and volunteers will ensure your students have a stimulating and enjoyable time. We focus on promoting understanding of plant biology and the environment for all levels and age groups. Our approach is cross-curricular in order to give the very best out-of-classroom experience. Each session in the school visit programme has a capacity of 20-30 students. Wakehurst can accommodate groups of up to 120 students by implementing a rotating timetable.

Early Years programme

Key Stage 1 programme

Experienced and enthusiastic Kew teachers lead a variety of hands-on sessions designed to match the learning outcomes in the National Curriculum.

Key Stage 2 programme

Key Stage 3 programme
