Here you can explore 500 acres of wild woodland, landscaped gardens and nature reserve.
Don't miss the striking Water Gardens filled with tropical plants and the beautiful Walled Garden bursting with vibrant blooms.
Why not head over to the Millennium Seed Bank, where you can discover our vital conservation work?
Complete the day with delicious food from our Stables Restaurant and a unique trinket from the gift shop.
We’ll provide transport to and from the site, and once there you’ll be free to roam at your leisure.
This visit is self-guided, so there is no set itinerary or organised tours. Plan your day using our map.
9.30am: Depart from Elizabeth Gate, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew
11.00am: Arrival at Wakehurst
3.15pm: Registration for return coach
3.30pm: Depart from Wakehurst
5.30pm: Arrival at Elizabeth Gate, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew
Please note there will be no additional stops.
This event is exclusively for Kew members and tickets must be booked in advance.
Please bring your membership card or confirmation email on the day.
Anyone aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the gardens.
Young Person members will need to bring photo ID containing their date of birth whenever visiting our gardens.
