Whether you are a keen gardener, vegetable lover or just curious about Kew's history, you are sure to enjoy this tour of the 'most inspirational vegetable garden 2016' (Great British Growing Awards). 

The tour includes:

  • history of the Royal Kitchen Garden 
  • origin and history of some of the vegetables
  • medicinal and food uses
  • student vegetable plots

A wide range of fruit and vegetables are grown in the Kitchen Garden throughout the year. This summer, you could find seasonal produce like strawberries, garlic and heritage varieties of carrot (including purple and yellow).
