Pakistani-American contemporary artist Anila Quayyum Agha showcases two stunning sculptures in this new exhibition at Kew.

All the flowers are for me

This large, laser-cut steel cube suspended from the gallery ceiling fills the space with elaborate floor-to-ceiling shadows.

Drawing inspiration from patterns used in Islamic art and architecture, All the flowers are for me explores cultural connectedness and peaceful co-existence in our increasingly fractious world.

Visitors are invited to become a living, breathing part of this immersive piece within an inclusive and sacred space.

Stolen moment bouquet I and II

Premiering in the UK here at Kew, Stolen moment bouquet I and II is a wall-mounted piece constructed from mirrored stainless steel.

This brand new piece is inspired by the botanical artist Albrecht Dürer's watercolour painting Great piece of turf, which depicts a variety of wild plants in meticulous detail.

Created over 500 years after Dürer’s piece, Stolen moment bouquet I and II demonstrates the constant evolution of botanical art forms, and highlights how traditional botanical painting remains a source of inspiration for contemporary art.
