5 July 2022: Van Morrison

Van Morrison is one of the world’s most celebrated and inspirational singer/songwriters; his legacy transcends generations.

Rising to fame in the early 60s as the lead singer of Irish R&B/rock band Them, Morrison became a runaway success with timeless classics including Gloria and Here Comes The Night.

He would later establish himself as a wildly successful solo artist, moving towards more experimental terrain releasing era-defining albums ‘Astral Winds’, ‘Moondance’ and ‘Tupelo Honey’.  

Ever prolific, the world-wide legend that is Van Morrison continues to record new material.

6 July 2022: James Blunt

The five-time Grammy nominated and multiple BRIT award winning artist, James Blunt, is no stranger to festival spotlight and will wow the crowds at Kew the Music in July 2022.

After numerous successes since his debut ‘Back to Bedlam’ in 2004 (the record that brought us You’re Beautiful and Goodbye My Lover), James returned in October 2019 with ‘Once Upon A Mind’. The record has a warmth that permeates its entirety, and a real sense of personality.

Well known for his wit and charm, James has sold over 23 million albums and is a definite must-see live.

The popularity of garage has remained consistent since its inception over 20 years ago, when it swept across the airwaves, clubs, charts and streets of Britain. DJ Spoony is at the forefront of the genre inspiring a new generation of garage artists.

This godfather of garage is heading to the capital in 2022. The show is packed full of re-imagined classics such as Flowers, 21 Seconds and Sweet Like Chocolate, and it features sampled vocals from iconic artists such as Sugababes, Paloma Faith, Lily Allen, Emeli Sandé, Raleigh Ritchie and many more.

DJ Spoony will bring music fans a high-energy, hi-octane show and a re-ignited passion for garage, but with a classical twist…

8 July 2022: Will Young and James Morrison

Having released the infectious summer anthem My Love from his latest album ‘Lexicon’, Will Young is back stronger than ever.

With an impressive résumé including the biggest single of the noughties with Anything is Possible/Evergreen, two BRIT awards, and four No. 1 albums, homegrown favourite Will Young is a seasoned pop star worth watching.

Boasting a devoted following, 7 million album sales, and a BRIT award, James Morrison will be co-headlining Kew the Music’s Friday night slot.

His five Top 10 singles all rank among the biggest of their era, including the breakthrough smashes You Give Me Something and Wonderful World.

9 July 2022: Bananarama - Supported by Gabrielle and Rebecca Ferguson

Headliner Bananarama will be joined by legendary vocalist Gabrielle and X-Factor alumni Rebecca Ferguson for an ultimate summer night out.  

With over 30 million copies sold worldwide, multiple BRIT-Award nominations, and a Guiness World Record for the most chart entries by a female group (they have 32 Top 40 UK hits), Bananarama are an era-defining group whose legacy and influence continues to endure. 

Since their transition to a duo in the early 90s, Bananarama have shown no sign of slowing down, releasing a further six studio albums including their most recent project, ‘In Stereo’, in 2019.

Famed for her raspy tones, Gabrielle redefined what a female pop star in the 90s could be. Using her sweet vocals and gift for songwriting as an anchor, Gabrielle is to thank for some of the UK’s most pre-eminent hits. 

Best known for her appearance on the seventh series of the X-Factor in 2010, Rebecca Ferguson has released four critically-acclaimed albums with her vintage vocal stylings, all reaching the UK Top 10.

 10 July 2022: Gipsy Kings

With little need of introduction, the party favourites and spectacular performers, Gipsy Kings, will close Kew the Music 2022.

They are one of the most successful Spanish language bands of the last 40 years, with their 1989 self-titled album spending 40 weeks on the US charts, and their top 5 songs amassing over 160 million listens on Spotify.

Known for their infectious tunes and jubilant performances, Gypsy Kings have successfully been in demand for over four decades.

Parking Please note there is no parking available at Kew for the Kew the Music event. Please check the Transport for London website for further information regarding parking in the area.

Which gate should I use?

Customers can enter the site through either Victoria or Elizabeth Gate, whichever is most convenient. The walk from either entrance gate to the arena is approximately 500 metres. If you need to collect tickets, please enter via Victoria Gate as you will need to collect your tickets from the box office at this gate.

Customers for the VIP packages will find it easiest to use Elizabeth Gate.

You are welcome to bring your own food and drink, or to enjoy refreshments at the open-air bars and tasty street food stalls.

2021 tickets

If you had a ticket for the cancelled Kew the Music 2021, they are still valid for 2022. 

You should have had an update to your ticket in March 2021 or contact with any questions.
