Join us on a woodland trail to find the Gruffalo this Easter.

Who is hiding in Kew's deep dark wood? Unleash your inner detective to find out what creatures live in our woodland.

Gruffalo trail

Pick up your trail pack and get set for an adventure.

Follow footprints, marks and feathers and figure out clues on our family-friendly trail.

Discover the secret world of plants and animals, what marks they leave behind, and how their lives are interconnected.

Meet your favourite Gruffalo characters on the way, and keep your eyes peeled to spot the Gruffalo himself...

Why not come as the little brown mouse! All our little trail-hunters are welcome to dress up as the curious character and lead the way.

Habitat building workshop

Become a nature detective and learn about woodland plants that animals use to build their homes.

Identify the different wildlife in our Gardens and have a go at building a log pile house for animals to live in.
