This course is designed for camera-owners who would like to know the basics.

It's suitable for people with any sort of camera – compact, bridge or DSLR. You'll learn some of the essential principles of photography such as focus, exposure and composition as well as practical aspects such as how to download, store and process images. 

The majority of the time will be spent practicing techniques by using cameras out in the beautiful Gardens. 

You'll learn a host of top tips, have a chance to ask questions, and review your own images and those taken by the group. 

It will be useful to bring:

  • Instruction books, if you have them
  • Fully-charged batteries 
  • A memory card with some free space on it.
