Celebrate or commemorate someone
We offer wonderful ways to celebrate special moments or commemorate the life of a loved one at Kew Gardens or Wakehurst. By celebrating through us, you also support our vital science and conservation efforts.
Display a plaque with your personal dedication for a ten year period. Bench sponsorship starts at £5,000.
Sponsor a tree
In recognition of your sponsorship, you will receive a certificate and mounted photograph, and a personal dedication on our commemorative register. We ask for a minimum donation of £5,000 to sponsor a tree.
Sponsor a botanical illustration
You'll be invited to a tour of the collection, and your sponsorship will be recognised with a certificate and an entry on our online commemorative register. A donation of £500 will allow us to conserve one of these pieces for future generations.
Sponsor a woodland
You will get a personal dedication recorded on our commemorative register, and will recieve a certificate and a mounted photograph. We ask for a donation of £1,000.
Save a species
We have species from all over the world available for sponsorship at £1,000 or £2,000. For every species saved, you will receive a beautiful image of your species and an invitation to a tour of the Millennium Seed Bank at Wakehurst.
Sponsor a book
Your personal dedication will be added to our commemorative register, and you will be able to view the book and bookplate in our library. We ask for a donation of £250 to sponsor a book in Kew's Library.
A personal and discreet service can be provided for families wanting to scatter the ashes of a loved one. We suggest a donation of £500 for all ash scatterings.
We offer the option of giving a donation to a charity, which many prefer in lieu of flowers. Funeral directors can arrange this for you, or you can send your kind donations directly to us.
Adopt a seed
Be part of the world's most important conservation project by protecting our seeds.
