Training sessions take place on Saturdays from October to March, and three days in October Half term.
After graduating, young people volunteer in the Temperate House at Kew twice a month from April to September.
We're working in partnership with selected schools in Ealing, Hamersmith and Fulham, Hounslow and Richmond to make sure our programme reaches young people who might not have previously visited Kew or had similar opportunities in the past.
If you're a teacher or headteacher working in a school in one of these boroughs, and are interested in finding out more, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Aimed at young people aged 16-19, the Youth Forum is a chance to come together and help design and run specialist learning events at Kew.
They have the opportunity to work with professional artists, Kew scientists and musicians in a collaborative way using Kew's collections as inspiration.
Recent projects the Youth Forum have supported include the design of our outreach youth photography project.
