The Festival Site

Being tucked away in a quiet corner of the Gardens is one the Festival's lure.

Walking from Victoria Gate it will take you 15 - 20 minutes.

Alternatively, enjoy the trip in the special horse drawn cart which leaves Victoria Gate on the half hour between 10.30am - 3.30pm (Adult £2, Child £1). Or take the Kew Explorer, which leaves Victoria Gate on the hour and half hour 11am - 4pm (Adult £3.50, Child £1).

Remember, once you buy an Explorer ticket you can hop on and off at any of the eight stops throughout your day, so it's a great way to get an introduction to the Gardens as well.

There is no additional charge for the Festival so once you have paid to get in, you can spend the whole day exploring the Gardens' beauty and historic treasures as well paying a visit to see the pole lathe turners or weavers at work.

Visit the map of the Festival to see where the activities are.
