To complement the array of fascinating and unusual traditional woodland
skills and shows, such as the working horses and longbow demonstrations,
coppicing and hedge laying there is plenty for young adventurers to enjoy...
Zip-Wire 9.30am - 5pm (7)
Fly down the 70m zip-wire! Need we say more...
Suitable for children 5 - 15 years. Queues are likely.
Last admission 4.30pm
(please note the zip-wire closes from 1pm-2pm)
Children's Shows
The Blossom Tree 12noon, 2pm, 4pm (5)
Watch our woodland puppet show about a woodcutter and his beloved trees.
Shows last 20 minutes. Suitable for children 4+
years
Listen to storytelling 11am, 1pm, 3pm (6)
Tales last 20 minutes. Suitable for children 4+ years
Wizard of Wood's Quest (8)
Brockendorff, lives under the 34th Oak Tree in the Woods Nr the Hill
and will be leaving trails and setting magical challenges; from walking
along a rope to spot lost items to going on a trail to find the enchanted
tree.

stall. Suitable for children aged 5-12 .
Meet the Bug Man and his friends! (9)
Get close to a tarantula or cuddle a cockroach! There are loads
of creepy crawlies here waiting to meet you.
Help make a Giant Bug 10.30am, 12noon, 2.20pm, 3.50pm (10)
Join one of our craft sessions and help carve a giant insect over 30m
long!
Places are issued on a first come, first served
basis. Simply turn up 15 minutes prior to the start of each session.
Workshops last 70 minutes. Suitable for children 11+.
