The CBD for Botanists:
An introduction to the Convention on Biological Diversity for people working with botanical collections

CBD for Botanists - cover scan and CDThis presentation pack provides basic information on the CBD for botanical institutions. It focuses on the issue of ‘access to genetic resources and benefit-sharing’, and its practical implications. The pack includes slides and suggested speaker’s notes, and a resources section offering more detailed information, useful links and suggestions for further reading. It also includes the text of the CBD and the Bonn Guidelines. It is designed to be a flexible training tool, adaptable to different audiences, but can also be read for practical guidance on implementation.
