The perfect autumn day at Kew's sister site, Wakehurst place in Sussex
Wakehurst in autumn

Wakehurst contains an astonishing diversity of plants that provide interest all year round. Celebrate the joy of each season by joining us on a quarterly talk and stroll led by Paul Reader, one of Wakehurst’s senior horticultural experts.

We’ll start with an illustrated talk to introduce the native and migrant wildlife at Wakehurst and highlight some of our most notable plants and views, before heading off into the formal gardens and beyond for a guided tour.

You'll also get the chance to pick up some seasonal gardening tips and plant identification hints too. The ticket price includes a delicious bowl of soup (made with seasonal ingredients) and bread served at the end of the walk.

For further information, email or call 020 8332 5626.
