BIODIVERSITY UP CLOSE
Look down the lens of a microscope to see the amazing diversity of hedgerow plants. Observe the details that help botanists to identify plants. Make sketches and use these to create the microscopic view, which will form part of a collaborative art work and matching game.
HERBARIUM ART

BIODIVERSITYLOG
Collect fallen items and add them to one of the logs displayed on the Chapel Lawn creating a piece of art which celebrates biodiversity. You could then attach your own message to our ‘blog’.
THERE’S MORE TO A HEDGE THAN MEETS THE EYE
(GO to the Mansion for instructions)
Visit a hedge at Wakehurst and discover its amazing biodiversity. Find out how to become a hedgerow surveyor and then recreate some of the hedgerow back in the Chapel.
PLANT A HEDGEROW
Using fallen leaves you have collected from the hedgerow encircle the Chapel with hedgerow art.
