School visits to Wakehurst are planned in detail with an experienced Wakehurst teacher prior to the visit and are tailored to suit the needs of your class.
We pride ourselves in well organised, fun, stress-free days that allow teachers to participate fully with their students.
Each session in the school visit programme has a capacity of 20-30 students. Wakehurst can accommodate groups of up to 120 students by implementing a rotating timetable on your visit.
These fees outline the cost of a half-day or full-day visit to Wakehurst for 20-30 students:
Half-day school visits to Wakehurst start from £150.00.
Full-day school visits to Wakehurst start from £200.00.
Pupils are provided with fruit and vegetables to explore parts of a plant and work out which parts they eat.
A series of activities with the emphasis on fun, problem-solving and team-building.
Study ex situ and in situ conservation using the Millennium seed Bank and conservation sites in the beautiful Wakehurst estate.
