Introduction to the Gardens

A guide leads a tour through one of Kew's glasshouses

Get an insight into Kew’s history, plants, science and seasonal highlights. Every day of the year except 24 and 25 December.

Inspiring Kew

Coffea arabica from the Kew Collection

This exhibition at the Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Botanical Art will reveal how - from the creation of the original ‘physic’ garden in 1759 to its position today as a UNESCO World Heritage site and world-class research establishment - Kew has been a source of inspiration.

Plant Connoisseurs' Club

Each weekend during the Intoxication Season at Kew, you can explore unfamiliar yet culturally significant plants consumed around the world in this interactive workshop run by architectural foodsmiths Bompas & Parr.
