Autumn Festival at Kew Gardens: 2-31 October 2010
Autumn Festival at Kew Gardens: 2-31 October 2010
Autumn Festival: 2 - 31 October 2010
Welcome to Kew’s autumn festival where children can learn through botanical play at our five key family attractions. Our festival is packed full of exciting things to see and do with all the family, see below what we have on offer so you don't miss out!
PLANTastic Play
Young explorers can discover the new children's outdoor play area, shaped like a plant and nestled in Kew’s Conservation Area. Journey through this interactive landscape to discover the importance of every part of a plant. Tunnel through giant roots, disappear in a leafy maze and hide amongst the large fungi whilst solving puzzles along the way!
Xstrata Treetop Walkway
Climb high into the tree canopy, 18 metres above the ground, for a spectacular experience testing your head for heights. Feel as tall as the trees and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the Gardens as they burst with autumn colour.
Treehouse Towers
Climb up ladders, brave the wobbly rope bridges and fly down zip wires. The adventure continues with giant swings and slides whilst offering educational opportunities for children to learn about and appreciate trees.
