Every year Kew brings some tropical colour to winter with its annual orchids festival. The spectacular display is found in the Princess of Wales Conservatory and runs for a month during February and March.

Write on Kew
Kew's literary festival took place for the first time in 2015, hosting around 80 events across various genres and introducing many new authors as well as well-loved favourites. The festival returned to Kew in September 2016 with four days of talks and events with a stellar line-up of speakers from Carol Ann Duffy to Monty Don.
