The X Factor!

Propelled to stardom after winning The X Factor in 2006, Londoner Leona Lewis has become one of the UK’s biggest exports.

Debut single A Moment like This became the fastest-selling download in history when it was released in December 2006. Following A Moment Like This was the supersonic Bleeding Love which shot to number one in 30 countries no less.

Leona’s debut album Spirit continued the trail of success when it became the fastest selling debut album of 2007 and made her the first UK solo artist to claim the top spot on the Billboard 200.

Performing with Jimmy Page at the Beijing Olympics closing ceremony cemented Leona’s reputation as a global superstar. And with three number one albums, and one number three under her belt, plus bags of chart-topping singles, we’re chuffed to welcome Leona to our festival.
