Inspired by the Queen’s Garden at Kew Palace, this one-day course will guide you through the practical and safe home use of garden herbs.

Medical herbalist, Christina Stapley, will be on hand to guide you through the practical and safe home use of herbs such as marshmallow, elder, fennel, chamomile, lemon balm, houseleek, sage, thyme and lavender. Herbal applications have been used to treat everything from insect bites to sore throats or diarrhoea.

Christina will show you how herbs are gathered, dried and stored for use in a range of remedies, from herbal teas to foot or hand baths and soothing pillows. And you'll learn how to preserve fresh herbs in honey or honey syrups, oils or vinegars.
