This Easter, Aardman’s much-loved, world famous sheep is starring in his first movie and is bringing a host of friends to Kew to celebrate.

What to expect

Timmy's Springtime Trail

Timmy, the lamb of the flock, has been bouncing in amongst the spring flowers. Follow the trail, collecting stamps along the way, to discover what is waiting for you at the end.

Shaun’s Madcap Meadow

A meadow of British wildflowers is home to an assortment of family activities including:

  • Wellie wanging - throwing baby wellies at scarecrows to knock off their heads
  • Sheep Hopper Maze - race your friends as you bounce your way around a maze of hay bales
  • Bitzer’s Sheepdog Trials - help herd, bounce and roll Shirley back into her pen. Harder than you might think!
  • Vegetable Orchestra - join in with our roving musicians, playing veggie shakers, maracas and more

From Bean to Bar workshop

Make and take home your own Shaun the Sheep embosed chocolate bar - just be careful Shirely doesn't pinch it from you on the way out! Learn about the importance of the cacao tree nad teh chocolate making process. Workshops last for 30 minutes and suitable for all ages. Sessions must be booked in advance. Additional charge applies.More details to follow.

Easter egg hunt

With thanks to Divine Chocolate, we're holding our popular annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday 5 April. Meet on the lawns in front of Kew Palace to get your instructions, then get eggs-ploring!

Real sheep will be visiting Kew for the duration of the festival, on holiday from Kew’s garden in Sussex, Wakehurst.
