Christmas at Kew

26 November 2014 to 3 January 2015, 5pm to 10pm

New for 2014, this glittering night-time trail includes a garden of fire, Tunnel of Lights, sparkling giant snowflakes, Santa’s Snowflake Grotto and much more, making it the perfect Christmas experience.

Event details: 
5pm to 10pm (Closed on 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 24 and 25 December 2014). Timed entrance between 5pm and 8.15pm.

Main entrance - Victoria Gate. Tickets with pre-paid parking - entrance at Brentford Gate. Entry price excludes Santa’s Snowflake Grotto and rides.

As you make your way around the trail, you’ll be tempted by the aroma of roasting chestnuts, toasting marshmallows, and other traditional fayre. Our Victorian carousel, family rides and outdoor adventure playground provide fun for the young ones – and don’t forget to make time for a memorable visit with Santa in his Snowflake Grotto.

The trail is very popular and entry is by timed ticket, so please book well in advance in order to secure the date and entry time you want.

The trail opens at 5pm and closes at 10pm. You can choose from eight session  times. Visits are timed at 30-minute intervals from 5pm until 8pm and the last session starts at 8.15pm.

Santa’s Snowflake Grotto

Make time for a memorable visit with Santa in the Snowflake Grotto.

  • Santa’s Snowflake Grotto (closed on 4, 13 & 20 December and all dates following Christmas Day)
  • 5pm to 9pm, Located in the Princess of Wales Conservatory.
  • £4 per child.

Christmas rides

Soak up the playful atmosphere at White Peaks where the Victorian carousel, family rides and Tree Top Towers outdoor adventure playground provide fun for the young ones.

  • 5pm to 9.30pm, Located next to the White Peaks cafe.
  • £2 per ride.

Festive treats

Keep warm under the stars with a mulled wine, spiced cider, or hot chocolate as the aroma of roasting chestnuts and toasting marshmallows tempts you to enjoy tasty treats and other traditional fayre.
