Banish the winter blues
Kew’s Tropical Extravaganza, 4 February - 4 March 2012
Kew's dramatic Tropical Extravaganza offers an escape from chilly February. The Princess of Wales Conservatory becomes a tropical paradise with exotic orchids, bromeliads and anthuriums displayed throughout Kew's most complex glasshouse. Orchid growing advice sessions and behind the scenes tours of the Tropical Nursery enhance your visit.
The largest display of spring colour in the country
March - April 2012
See over 5 million bulbs melt away winter and bring a fantastic rush of colour to Kew Gardens from mid-March 2012. Purple and white crocuses frame Kew's beautiful historic features and thousands of glowing daffodils line the paths. The bulb display includes an azure blue carpet of glory of the snow (Chionodoxa seihei) in front of Kew Palace.

Kew Palace was the family country home of King George III. This cosy and intimate palace offers a unique insight into royal family life both above and below stairs.

Climb to the autumn treetops
October - November 2012
October and November are beautiful months at Kew Gardens, as the trees slowly take on their autumn colours. The view from the 18m high Xstrata Treetop Walkway is stunning and groups can book a seasonal guided tour to enjoy the best of autumn in the Gardens.
